How to prepare for the lab collection:

Requires 8 HOUR FAST BEFORE testing, that means nothing to eat or drink (other than BLACK Coffee or water) after MIDNIGHT the night before testing.

The General Health Screen consists of 30 diagnostic values that provide an objective look at your health. These same tests are used by medical providers to evaluate areas like iron levels, electrolyte balance, kidney, liver and bone health as well as your risk for conditions like Diabetes and Heart Disease.

The GHS serves as the foundation for all our Wellness Profiles and includes the following tests:

Review your results with the expert

Once you have visited the local lab and been notified your results are complete (usually with 24 hours), you're prompted to schedule a time with a medical expert to review your results. This 15-minute telephone consultation is intended to help you better understand your results, answer simple health questions and develop a plan to move forward.

What it is NOT

It is NOT a replacement for the services of a Primary Care Physician. It is intended to help you prepare for your next doctor's visit. While it CANNOT provide a diagnosis or recommend ANY specific treatment from a single lab report, it may identify results that require a followup up with your personal physician. It will also make it simple to fax them a copy from inside your personal health record (PHR) if you choose to make these results part of your permanent medical record

Before you choose the time for your conversation, you will be asked to complete a short health history. Your answers here are combined with your lab results to provide the expert with the most accurate picture of your current health. The more specific you can be, the better quality service they can provide.

This information is not sold, shared or used for ANY PURPOSE other than giving the expert the best information to help you. Once the conversation is complete, you have the option of unchecking any answer in your Medical History tab which deletes this information from your record.
